Mr. Francisco J. Riberas is on the Board of Directors of Gestamp Automoción since its inception on December 22, 1997, and was appointed the Executive Chairman on March 24, 2017. He holds a degree in Law and a degree in Economics and Business Administration from Comillas Pontifical University (ICADE E-3), Madrid.
He began his professional career by taking on different positions in the Gonvarri Group as Director of Corporate Development and later as Managing Director. In 1997, he created the Company and since then he has been its Executive Chairman, shaping over time what the Group is today.
He sits on the management bodies of other Group companies and of companies in the Acek Group (including companies in the Gonvarri Group, Acek Energias Renovables and Inmobiliaria Acek). He is also a member of other Boards of Directors outside the Acek Group such as Telefónica, CIE Automotive and Wallbox. In addition, he is the Chairman of the Spanish Association of Automotive Suppliers (Sernauto) and of the China-Spain Foundation, among others.
Jon Riberas was born in Madrid in 1968. He has a degree in Law (1991) and a degree in Economics and Business Administration (1992) from the Pontificial University of Comillas (ICADE E-3).
In 1992, he began his professional career in the Business Development area of Grupo Gonvarri, to later assume functions as CEO. In 2005, he founded ACEK Renewables.
In 2010, he was appointed Executive Chairman of Gonvarri Industries and Co-Chairman of Corporación ACEK, the family holding.
Currently, he is Co-Chairman of the family holding, Executive Chairman of Gonvarri Industries, Executive Chairman of GRI Renewable Industries, Vice president and member of the Board of Directors of Gestamp and member of the Board of Directors of CIE Automotive and Global Dominion.
Mr. César Cernuda was appointed Independent Director of Gestamp Automoción on March 24, 2017. He holds a degree in Business Administration and Marketing from ESIC Business & Marketing School University, Madrid. In addition, he participated in the Management Development Program (PDD) at IESE Business School, Madrid, as well as in the Executive Leadership program at Harvard University, Massachusetts. In 2022, he completed the Sustainable Business Leaders Program at Oxford University’s Saïd Business School.
He started his professional career in the banking sector, at Banco 21 (Banco Gallego), to later work at Software AG. For 23 years he has led different international management positions for Microsoft, such as General Manager of Microsoft Dynamics Europe, Middle East and Africa, Worldwide Vice President of Microsoft Dynamics, President of Microsoft Asia Pacific, and Corporate Vice President of Microsoft.
Since July 2020, he has served as Worldwide President of NetApp, Inc. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University and the International Advisory Board of the IESE Business School, University of Navarra.
In addition, other recognitions he has had have been: in 2014, he was recognized as one of the 100 most influential Spaniards in the world and, in 2015, he was distinguished as an honorary member of Asturias Siglo XXI for his international career. In 2018, he received the Aster award as recon for his outstanding work in the business world. That same year, and again in 2019, the Hispanic IT Executive Council (HITEC) recognized him as one of the fifty most influential Hispanic leaders. He received the Ponce de León award for “Executive of the Year 2019” given by the Spain-U.S. Chamber of Commerce for his important work in driving economic development and supporting the international Hispanic community and, in 2020, he was named #IWDLeader by the Red Shoe Movement for his work in promoting women in leadership positions. In 2021, he has been decorated with the Officer’s Cross to the Order of Civil Merit for helping to build trade ties between Spain and the United States. In 2022, he has been nominated as one of the top 100 global sales leaders by Modern Sale.
Mrs. Marieta del Rivero was appointed Independent Director of the Board of Directors of Gestamp Automoción, with effects, on July 29, 2019. She holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Autónoma University of Madrid, as well as an Advance Management Program from IESE, Madrid, and an Executive Program from Singularity University, California.
She started her career at Telyco (a subsidiary of Telefonica) as Product Marketing Director. After that, she was Marketing Director at Amena (now called Orange) and Marketing Director at Xfera (now called Yoigo). Later on, she worked for Nokia as CEO of the Iberia business and as SVP of Telefonica global business at Nokia for 7 years while also serving as a member of the Global Brand Board of the company. After that, she moved to Telefonica as Global Director of the Devices Business Unit, and later, as Global Marketing Director. Her last role at Telefonica was as Deputy General Director of Digital and Commercial Global Unit. Afterwards, she was Senior Advisor at Ericsson and President of the International Women Forum.
She currently serves as independent director at Cellnex Telecom (IBEX35) and chairman of its nomination and compensation committee. She also serves as member of the advisory board of Mutual Society of Lawyers, Madein Mobile, as well as non-executive chairman of Pentacom (Onivia) and chairman of its nomination and compensation committee. Furthermore, she is today member of the board of the Spanish Directors Association (AED) and Co-President of Women Coporate Director Spain.
Mrs. Loreto Ordóñez was appointed Independent Director of the Board of Directors of Gestamp Automoción, effective from May 6, 2021. She has a degree in mining engineering from the University of Oviedo, Spain, and from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, Belgium, she has a master’s degree in Combustion and Energy from the University of Leeds, England, and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from IESE, Spain.
She has an extensive professional career, with almost 25 years of experience in the energy sector. Currently, she is the Managing Director for Spain at the ENGIE Group (formerly GDF Suez) from which she is leading the energy transformation process with a focus on decarbonisation, energy efficiency and innovation.
She began his professional career in the area of research and development at the European Commission – DGXII, to later start working at ENUSA (Uranium National Entreprise) and later at Enagás. In London, she was Director of Business Development for Energy Wholesale Operation in 2000. Later, in 2002, she began working for the ENGIE Group as Director of Operations for Electrabel Spain in Belgium. In 2009 she was appointed Vice President of Strategy and Energy Management at GDF Suez Energy Western Europe, Paris and since 2011 she is CEO of the ENGIE Group in Spain.
She is currently a director of EXOLUM, and of several other companies of the ENGIE Group. In addition, she is Minister of Foreign Trade of France, President of Diálogo (Association of Spanish-French Friendship), Vice President of the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Spain, member of the Board of Directors of the Círculo de Empresarios, as well as of the Spanish Business Council for Sustainable Development (Forética), and member of the Board of Directors of the French Chamber of Commerce.
Since 2017 she was awarded with the Knight of the National Order of Merit by the President of the French Republic.
