Gestamp Foundation was established to continue driving Gestamp’s positive impact, which dates back more than 25 years, and take it even further. Its history can be traced to its founder, Francisco Riberas Pampliega, who created Gonvarri in 1967 through hard work and personal ambition. Although those were difficult times with limited resources, the solid values have withstood the test of time.
Gestamp emerged 40 years later with a clear mission: to continue delivering value and innovation to clients, always staying true to the Founder’s principles and values. This focus has paved the way for many years of success between the company and local communities, where people have always been the most important aspect.
This legacy of generosity, honesty and determination inspired the creation of Gestamp Foundation and is the best model to continue helping people grow through its actions and initiatives.
Letter from the president
The story of Gestamp began over 25 years ago. During this time, we have transformed from a local stamping supplier to a global leader in developing and manufacturing metallic components for the automotive sector.
As a family business, Gestamp was born with a long-term commitment that has accompanied us through all these years, always prompting lasting relationships and trust with our main stakeholders. None of this would have been possible without the 44,000 people who compose Gestamp and are an essential part of the company’s DNA. Every day, we work together for safer and lighter mobility, delivering trust and confidence and creating a positive impact that extends across, reaching thousands of people.
To continue contributing to society, accompanying, and supporting the people and local communities around us, Gestamp Foundation was born. The legacy of our founder, Francisco Riberas Pampliega, is the driving force that guides us every day. His principles and values have inspired the creation of our Foundation and serve as a roadmap to amplify the positive impact of the initiatives we carry out.
It gives me great satisfaction to see Gestamp Foundation become a reality. A project on which we have been working for a long time with passion and responsibility, in order to continue and amplify our commitment to the local communities in which Gestamp Group is present.
