Gestamp Foundation moves to generate opportunities and that is why we support the DalecandELA initiative that seeks to raise awareness and funds for ALS research by riding more than 650 km on a tandem. This project seeks to claim the plight of those affected by Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), a disease without cure anchored in the “Death Valley”, a place where scientific ideas that run out of resources perish. To this end, starting on April 7, coinciding with World Health Day, they will ride a tandem bicycle over 650 kilometers through the Californian desert of Death Valley and visit two of the world’s most prestigious laboratories for ALS research. The project will culminate in a documentary with the best moments of the expedition.
