The “I Speak Code” bootcamp was created by CODE.org and Fundación Gestamp to promote digitalization and programming language among children.
Digitalization and training are essential to be competitive and innovative. Thanks to the Internet and the ongoing development of IT technologies, computing languages have become widespread across the globe. Therefore, it is imperative to teach children so they can understand and master these languages. Children between the ages of 8 and 14 who participate in the “I Speak Code” project can learn coding in a fun and hands-on manner.
Since 2021, Gestamp has partnered with CODE.org, a non-profit entity that expands access to computer science training, to make the initiative available in more schools and increase participation by all groups.
