Gestamp Foundation and FAD Juventud have launched a public awareness campaign to promote Vocational Education and Training (VET) among young people and their families, emphasizing its value as a high-quality educational path with strong employability prospects and alignment with labor market demands.
The campaign is centered around a digital platform that offers clear and accessible information on the various VET pathways, levels, specialties, and career opportunities. Designed as a guidance tool, the website targets both young people and their families, as well as educators.
One of the campaign’s core elements is the inclusion of real-life testimonials that showcase the wide range of profiles and career paths available through VET. These personal stories highlight successful outcomes across multiple sectors—from industry and technology to healthcare and the creative fields. The narratives reflect experiences in workforce integration, continued education, and entrepreneurship, providing an authentic and relatable perspective that challenges stereotypes and inspires future students.
“I chose VET because I was looking for something practical, and I found exactly what I needed. Today, I work for a company in the industrial sector and continue to build my skills. VET gave me real tools to move forward”, says Lidia, one of the campaign participants.
The campaign adopts a concise, engaging format with audiovisual clips designed to resonate with families’ concerns and dismantle lingering misconceptions surrounding VET. Through this initiative, Gestamp Foundation and FAD Juventud reaffirm their commitment to educational guidance and to promoting training pathways that meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.
