The sixth edition of the e-FP program—a training initiative launched by the Máshumano Foundation and the Transforma España Foundation in collaboration with Gestamp Foundation and Stellantis, which promotes entrepreneurship through vocational training—has concluded by recognizing young entrepreneurship with a social impact.

To reinforce the commitment to vocational training and the development of young talent, 40 volunteer mentors from Gestamp Foundation have supported the participating teams, bringing the experience of the industrial environment to educational institutions and fostering a culture of innovation and hands-on learning.

To conclude this sixth edition, a grand finale was held, bringing together students, teachers, educational institutions, representatives from the business community, and public institutions.

The ceremony, held at the Stellantis facilities, began with opening remarks by José Antonio Chamizo Carretero, Director General of Self-Employment at the Ministry of Labor. Likewise, Rocío López, Director of Human Resources for Spain and Portugal at Stellantis, welcomed all participants and emphasized “the value of joining forces with educational and social entities to promote vocational training that is more closely aligned with the realities of the labor market, supporting projects like e-FP as a way to invest in the future of young talent and foster innovation and hands-on learning in the classroom.”

During the event, six finalist schools, three at the intermediate level and three at the advanced level—presented their proposals to an expert jury composed of representatives from the four organizing entities and institutional authorities. The projects stood out for the young students’ ability to apply methodologies such as Design Thinking and Lean Startup to real-world solutions for society.

The event also included a significant tribute to the teachers and the 70 mentors in total, highlighting the participation of volunteer professionals from the Gestamp Foundation and the Máshumano Foundation’s Volunteer Program, whose guidance has been key to translating the students’ ideas into the professional world.

Mónica Riberas, Executive Director of Gestamp Foundation, highlighted the importance of fostering entrepreneurship among young people: “At Gestamp Foundation, we believe it is essential to invest in vocational training in order to meet and strengthen the skills sought by companies. Particularly, entrepreneurship training develops key skills for young people’s future, such as creativity, leadership, and teamwork. Furthermore, we particularly value the fact that Gestamp employees can participate as mentors in the Entrepreneurship in Vocational Training program, offering students their experience and professional insight.”

During the jury’s deliberations, Luis Fernández López, founder and CEO of Elevatorfy, gave an inspiring talk to the students on the impact of entrepreneurship on education.

The closing remarks were delivered by Nikolay Yordanov Atanasov, Director General of Self-Employment and Entrepreneurship for the Community of Madrid, and Beatriz Sánchez Guitián, Director General of the Máshumano Foundation, who noted that “through e-FP, we are committed to an educational model that connects learning with real life. Equipping young people with the tools to become entrepreneurs through vocational training and awakening their social commitment is a direct way to unlock their talent, motivation, and future.” Furthermore, both agreed on the importance of building partnerships to strengthen youth employability.

The sixth edition of e-FP has established itself as a key ecosystem for “employability,” successfully bridging the gap between academic learning and the real-world demands of the business community. Through this partnership, the organizing entities have transformed vocational training into an environment for applied innovation, where young people not only acquire technical skills but also develop an entrepreneurial mindset aligned with the new challenges of the labor market. With an impact that already reaches thousands of students, the program demonstrates that it is the most effective tool for generating development opportunities for new generations, reinforcing the role of work as a driver of economic and social growth.
