“Ellas Hablan Código” is an initiative designed to introduce programming and artificial intelligence to young people, foster STEAM vocations, and help reduce the gender gap in the technology sector from an early age. Gestamp Foundation is collaborating in this first edition by granting 15 scholarships to children and relatives of Gestamp employees.
The bootcamp runs every Saturday from 27 September to 20 December at Campus 42, Distrito Telefónica (Madrid), providing 40 hours of intensive training that combine programming workshops, educational robotics, and practical projects with sessions on artificial intelligence and lectures by industry experts.
More than 150 children aged 9 to 14 are participating in the initiative, gaining the opportunity to develop computational thinking and design technological solutions applied to real-world problems.
The program is supported by strategic partners including Princesa de Girona, Deloitte, ITP Aereo, and Campus 42 Fundación Telefónica, among others, who, together with Gestamp Foundation, contribute to the initiative and deliver specialized sessions with real-life case studies.
Through “Ellas Hablan Código”, Gestamp Foundation reinforces its commitment to initiatives that bring technology closer to the next generation, offering concrete opportunities for talented young people to develop key digital skills for their academic and professional future.
