Fundación ELLIS Alicante, in collaboration with Gestamp Foundation, has brought together more than 400 high school students and teachers at the University of Alicante to bring Artificial Intelligence (AI) to the new generations. The conference explored the positive impact of AI on society and encouraged vocations in scientific and technological careers, in line with the Gestamp Foundation’s commitment to education and innovation.

Nuria Oliver, co-founder and vice president of ELLIS. and the research team have shared their experience in the field of AI, showing students how this technology can be applied to multiple sectors with an ethical approach and oriented to Social Good.

This initiative is part of the Gestamp Foundation’s commitment to STEAM education and training in key skills for the future of the industrial sector. Through activities like this, the Foundation seeks to inspire young people, demystify AI and demonstrate its transformative role in the world of work and society.

With the participation of high schools from all over the province of Alicante, the conference has served to bring the reality of AI to the classroom and encourage dialogue between students, teachers and researchers. A relevant fact is that 62.7% of the participants expressed their interest in studying or working in the technological field, which highlights the importance of initiatives like this to inspire and guide future generations. Fundación Gestamp thus reaffirms its commitment to the training of tomorrow’s professionals and the promotion of technological innovation with a positive impact.
