INITIATIVES
MOVING FOR INCLUSION
Fundación Gestamp, in collaboration with Randstad Foundation runs “Moving for inlcusion”, an initiative aimed at improving the employability of people with disabilities through mobility-related training.
Through this programme, participants follow a training pathway to obtain a forklift operator’s licence or a driving licence, with the aim of improving their access to new employment opportunities and strengthening their professional independence.
The training is complemented by visits to Gestamp production plants and workshops on occupational health and safety and logistics, allowing participants to put their forklift operator training into practice. These activities introduce participants to how an industrial environment operates and connect what they have learned with its application in a real workplace.
Gestamp professionals also volunteer in training sessions focused on key employability skills. Their experience and knowledge help prepare participants for employment and strengthen the connection between training and professional practice.
